Started with dried lavender and a kitchen table

Ruxandra Vesper, Founder

Back in 2019, I was working in event planning and constantly frustrated by how quickly fresh arrangements would wilt. Clients would spend significant amounts on centerpieces that looked stunning for maybe six hours. There had to be something better.

I started experimenting with preservation techniques in my apartment—roses, eucalyptus, wildflowers from weekend trips outside Baku. My first attempts were honestly terrible. But after months of testing different methods and nearly ruining my kitchen in the process, I figured out how to maintain both color and structure.

What began as a side project turned into something real when a local boutique owner saw arrangements I'd made for a friend's wedding. She asked if I could create pieces for her shop. That conversation changed everything.

How we actually work

Materials matter

We source flowers at their peak bloom and use preservation methods that maintain natural texture. No artificial dyes or synthetic additives. What you see is what the flower actually looked like.

Time investment

Each arrangement takes between three to eight days to complete properly. Rush orders compromise quality, so we're upfront about realistic timelines from the initial consultation.

Honest durability

With proper care, our pieces maintain their appearance for months or years. We provide specific maintenance guidance because longevity depends on how you display and handle them.

The people making this happen

Our small team brings different backgrounds together. Between us, we've worked in horticulture, design, and client services across Azerbaijan and beyond.

Casimir Thorne

Lead Designer

Casimir joined us in early 2023 after running a botanical illustration business. His background in visual composition shows in how he approaches spatial arrangement—every piece has intentional flow and balance. He's particularly skilled at working with asymmetrical designs that still feel cohesive.

Our preservation process

Behind the scenes

The workshop space where we handle preservation stays between 18-22°C with controlled humidity. We've refined our techniques over several years to find what actually works versus what sounds good in theory. Temperature consistency matters more than most people realize.

Working from Baku's Yaşıl Ada

Our studio sits in a converted warehouse space that gives us room to spread out. Large windows provide natural light for photographing finished pieces, and the concrete floors handle the inevitable mess that comes with working with botanical materials.

We moved here in 2024 when the previous location became too cramped. The extra space lets us take on larger corporate projects without compromising our smaller custom orders. Clients can visit by appointment if they want to see the process firsthand.

Most of our Azerbaijan-based clients find us through word-of-mouth referrals, which tells us we're doing something right. We've worked with hotels, restaurants, and private clients across Baku, plus occasional shipping to other regions when the project justifies it.
